Ski Trip to Park City

Early in December we went on a snow ski trip to Park City Utah for a week with Kim and Ethan and their family. Kiersten and Heath flew in from Brisbane a few days after we arrived. We stayed at a fabulous resort called Marriot Mountainside. It was cold and snowy, perfect for skiing and snowboarding. David had been looking forward to this trip so he could learn to snowboard. His first run down the mountain he took a fall and cracked 3 ribs. He had to be carried down the mountain. Later that day, Kim took a fall, hit her head and lost conciousness. When she woke up, she didn't remember being on this trip and kept repeating herself over and over. We later saw that she cracked her helmet! Ethan took her to the ER so they could CT her head. The ER doctors said it was a concussion. They were very interested in her story of her head injury as there was no sign of head trauma except where the plate in her head was. We are so blessed that no one was hurt any worse than they were. Unfortunately, Kim and David had to stay in the hotel the rest of the week while I went skiing with my son-in laws! Crazy!
