We made a personal commitment to donate to them every year at Christmas as a way of paying it forward. We want someone else that is having a difficult time at Christmas to have that same tender mercy. If you are looking for a way to spread some Christmas cheer, consider the Taylor House.

Two years ago on this day, Kim had emergency neurosurgery for an injury no one thought she would survive. One of the many tender mercies we experienced was the Taylor House. This lodging was offered to us across the street from the hospital where we could be near to Kim and still take care of Thurston. It was a warm, healing atmosphere and made a tremendous difference to use during one of the most stressful times in our life.
