When we returned from our eventful ski trip, we put our house up for sale. Our goal was to take advantage of the depressed real estate market, reduce our mortgage debt and find a house to accommodate our large family gatherings! Because of the economy, we were sure we would find a house to buy long before we would sell our home.
Before Christmas we started packing up our home to stage it for selling. Christmas was so wonderful with all our children and grandchildren gathered round us. Kim and Ethan moved into a house in Queen Creek and Kiersten and Heath returned to Australia the day after Christmas. Things were settling down.
The first week of January the unthinkable happened. We had a solid offer on our home! We were stunned that we were going to sell our home before we had closed on another! We closed on our home on February 11th, put everything in storage and moved in the Ethan and Kim in Queen Creek.
Here it is March and we still don't have a home. During the week we stay at a hotel for a couple nights so I can continue to take call at the hospital (as required by my job). I thought the easy part would be to find a home to buy!
In the meanwhile, life goes on and our family continues to grow. Lindsay and Lucy are both pregnant with grandchildren #10 and 11!

Come live in my neighborhood! We miss you guys so much.
Wow! I had no idea you were living with Kim. Lucky you, you have children that live so close. Hopefully you will find a house soon! Congrats to both your "expecting" girls. Oh, and it was so nice seeing you at Danae's shower. I told my mom hello for you, and she wanted me to tell you the same.
