Resolution

We took Kim to see Dr. Nicol, the neurosurgeon in Flagstaff.  He was satisfied with Kim's progress.  We found out that Kim has 4 screws and a metal plate in her head holding her skull together!
After a few additional xrays, the cervical collar came off!!  This is her infant son, Thurston, who has also been a trooper while mom has recuperated.  This will be my last post about Kim's progress after her terrible accident.  Thanks to all who supported us during our ordeal.  Kim will be returning to Australia January 23rd.

I am so glad your daughter is doing so well! It brings back lots of memories of Jason's own surgeries years ago! I think it is the gospel is a real anchor in our lives to get us through ANYTHING! Happy New Year Miriam!

Wow, what an amazing miracle. I'm so glad that she and the family are doing so well... and I'm pretty sure more people would shave their heads if they looked even half as gorgeous as she does. Hope you all have fun these last few weeks while they are here.

Miriam, it's Susan Hammerstein, your neighbor from Oxford Drive! I came upon your blog rather coincidentally, and I was very excited because a few months ago, I wanted to find your email address from the old high school reunion info. When you get time in your busy life, would you email me at shb10@aol.com ??? You have a beautiful family, and I'm so glad your daughter is going to be OK. And, you look SO young and gorgeous. (I look rather old!) Happy New Year, and blessings - Susan (San Diego)

We really miss your family. You guys were the highlights of our Sundays. We will follow you on the blog and catch dinner with you soon. Beth

What a miracle that your daughter is going to recover from her injuries. I cannot even imagine what you and your family were going through during that time. So happy to hear she is going to make a full recovery!
