Empty Nester
Its official. Today is the first day of my Empty Nester status. Kim and her family left yesterday to go home to Australia. This morning we woke up to a totally empty home. Strange and Bittersweet.
Wow I'm not sure if we will ever officially get to that point since our oldest daughter still lives with us but we have had tastes of it here and there and I am looking forward to it. Dont get me wrong - I love my kids but I'm looking forward to this next stage of my life.
I bet it was hard to see Kim go but I'm assuming that she must be doing good so i'm sure that is a great relief for you.
Hey Miriam-tell David that one of my favorite memories of my dad is when he chased them down the street and threw the rock at them. I had never seen my dad run so fast. It was pretty funny. That is neat that David remembers that. hahahaha
We need to start doing our once/month sunday get together again. And I promise to visit more often and let you watch the kids while Aaron and I go out. Just kidding, but we really will come up more!Love you mom!

Wow - you and David are now "empty nesters" - where does all the time go by?
So, how goes the life of the empty nesters?
