Day At the Tucson Zoo

We took a trip to Tucson to see Grandma Goodman. While we were there we visited the Tucson Zoo. It is just the right size for little kids and the animals are all close. We met Lucy and her family there. Kim and her family drove with me.
When we got there, we asked for a wheelchair for Grandma. She looked like she was going to cry when we got it. We said it was just so we could better corral the kids while at the zoo. She went along with it. "Wheelchairs are for old people" she said.

Lillian kept the zoo map and was in charge of deciding each site we would visit. She is quite the organizer for 5 years old!
This is one of the animals......oh no its just Anders!
Elisie loved sitting with Grandma and was constantly giving her hugs and kisses, much to Grandma's delight.
Atticus loved being outdoors.
Ivy insisted on being carried by Lucy.
They had a fun playground where we sat and rested and watched the kids play.
This is a PRICELESS picture of Grandma. She is ever the example of the love of Christ and missionary work. She sat next to this hispanic lady and started telling her about her mission to Mexico and Guatamala and did she know anything about the Mormon church? I had tears in my eyes watching my mother continue to be the perfect example to me and my family.
The otter exhibit had GREEN water!
Father and Son (Ethan and Thurston) with Grandma
The weather was overcast with a few sprinkles. It was the PERFECT day to be outside with the kids!

Grandma Goodman looks great, just like I remember her. What an inspiring example to you all she is. It's lovely seeing Thurston and Atticus with cousins, sad for us but wonderful for them. We are happy that you get to see and spend time with your grandbabies, kids, family. take care, love Anne.
